Micki Barrow

Through my art, I explore objects and the sentimental, nostalgic emotions that they can hold.
I work in series and begin with either a charcoal drawing or acrylic transfer of an original photograph. Next I add layers of texture and color with acrylic paints and mediums to create a "room" for the image to live in... bringing forth the feelings they hold for me.... like a visual memory.
